Welcome, friend! Our story began about a year ago, when a busy mom set out to help other busy moms navigate the busyness of motherhood. Craving simplicity and practical tools for the beautiful chaos of raising children, I found inspiration from professionals and fellow moms. A Life of Wildflowers was born from my passion for creativity, writing, and supporting others.
You’re not alone—most of us face similar struggles. My hope is to offer a beautiful companion for your motherhood journey, free of judgment, filled with gentle advice, encouragement, and practical tips that have helped me along the way.
I envision a warm, inviting space—like joining me on the porch with a soothing cup of tea, faith, and a supportive shoulder. A Life of Wildflowers is meant to be a nurturing community where we cheer each other on.
I encourage you to embrace a wildflower life—thrive where you’re planted, be vibrant, and find beauty in the everyday. Be resilient and joyful, trust in God’s provision, and allow yourself—and your children—to grow freely. Let’s discover together what it means to live like a wildflower.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hello, beautiful! I’m Jori, and I’m truly grateful you’re here. I’m a Midwest wife married to a hardworking, blue-collar man, and together we do our best to wrangle our six kids. Our life isn’t perfect, but its imperfections make it all the more beautiful.
Our home is filled with dogs, horses, and chickens, and we’re in the midst of building our dream homestead. I love Jesus, rainy days, and the simple joy of sipping tea with a good book outdoors while the kids play and birds sing nearby. I cherish being a mom—even on the hard days. This is the life I once prayed for!
I’m an amateur photographer and a plant enthusiast with a love-hate relationship with cleaning. I also find joy in writing, learning new things, and sharing what I’ve learned with others.
I hope this blog brings a little sunshine to your day. So, grab a cup of tea, coffee, or a refreshing lemonade, and join me on the porch!
Xoxo,
Jori
